I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful event benefiting Wholesome Wave Georgia on behalf of the Athens Farmer's Market. Peter Dale of The National and Empire State South, Dean Neff of Five and Ten, Hugh Acheson of all three of those restaurants, Matt Palmerlee of The Branded Butcher, Emmanuel Stone of Harry's Pig Shop, Mimi Maumus of home.made catering, Aaron Phillips of Last Resort Grill, Jessica Rothaker of Heirloom Cafe, Whitney Otawka of Farm 255, Josh Aaron of The Savory Spoon, and Sarah Dunning created dishes with ingredients sourced from the farmers who make our market possible. The food was amazing, the wine was delicious and the beer was from Terrapin. The event was held at The Hill. It was lovely.
Speaking of Athens, have you seen the Design Sponge city guide for my little town? So many friends are mentioned in the article. Some of them are already linked above, but here are a few more:
Eric of Trappeze and Highwire
Airee of Agora
Sanni of Community
Rebecca of R. Wood
Kristen of Treehouse
Ken of White Tiger
This is such a beautiful town and I am super thankful to be part of this community. You should probably come visit and see all of these amazing places, meet all of these amazing people.
Talk again soon.
