big city bread and blog hopes

The girls and Tyler went with me and my camera to Big City Bread,  a restaurant here in Athens with beautiful light and the best outdoor seating. These are a couple of my favorites from that outing. I haven't posted pictures of the girls here in a while, and I didn't include one of Larken in this post. In fact, I haven't been taking pictures of them nearly as much as I used to. I want to be better about that. I want to document our life more. I want to remember the beauty of these days and the experiences that we get to share together. I think this is why having a blog is so important to me... it gives me a place to share my life and my work. 

That being said, I have some things planned for my blog that I am really excited about... more of the girls and I, a series on artists in their studios and creative spaces, and a series on my favorite parts of Athens... restaurants, shops, homes, people. Honestly, I really just want to pour into this blog. I want to write more often and be more intentional about shooting and sharing personal work. It makes me a better photographer and it gives me a framework to engage with my community through my camera.
